LAIF 2025 gave Flow multiple reasons to celebrate, and each one tells an important part of our story.
First, Flow’s debut at the LAIF awards. We got nominated across 3 categories: CAMPAIGN LAIF (Telco), and DIGITAL & MOBILE LAIF (Telco) and bagged a Silver and a Bronze award.
That’s the thing about doing good work, you want people to notice. And they did. The wins felt great, felt right, felt like we were exactly where we’re supposed to be among Nigeria’s creative heavyweights.
But here’s where it gets really interesting.
While we were out here beaming with pride over our Silver and Bronze awards, two guys from Flow (Tobi Abiodun and Maven Layemi) were quietly plotting world domination. Or at least LAIF domination. They walked into the Young Laifers category and didn’t just participate. They won. Gold. Plus the cash prize, because why not?

This is the kind of plot twist we live for.
Here’s the thing about Flow: we’ve always believed that great ideas have the power to travel across cultures and borders. Tobi and Maven proved that in the most spectacular way possible. While the “grown-ups” were winning Silver and Bronze, these two were out here actually winning Gold. And honestly? That might be the bigger story.
Don’t get us wrong, our wins matter. They show we’re holding our own, doing the work, staying in the mix with the best agencies in the country. But watching two young creatives from your team take home Gold? That kind of validation hits different. It says we’re not just talking about nurturing talent or believing in fresh perspectives. We’re actually doing it. And it’s actually working.
To Tobi and Maven: you didn’t just win an award. You reminded everyone, including us, why we do this, why we’d rather be bold than safe, why Flow exists in the first place.
To everyone watching: this is what momentum looks like. Silver and Bronze today, Gold-winning young talent tomorrow, and honestly, we’re just getting warmed up.
The work continues. The ideas keep flowing (pun absolutely intended).
Flow walked into LAIF 2025 as first-time contenders. We walked out as winners and believers in our work, yes, but more importantly, in the people shaping our tomorrow.
